Planning
Whether the subject is fragile ecosystems or imperiled civil
rights, Harvest Moon Studio co-founder Heather Lindquist
has extensive experience as an exhibit planner for museums
and visitor centers. With a background in American Studies,
and over twenty years in exhibit planning, she seeks simple, thematic solutions
to multi-layered content.
Exhibits planned and written
by Heather Lindquist are currently installed at:
Manzanar National Historic Site in Owens Valley,
California, The National Prisoner of War Museum in
Andersonville, Georgia, The Lincoln Home National
Historic Site in Springfield, Illinois, and Acadia
National Park in Maine.
Upcoming installations include:
the Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial, the Naval
Live Oaks Visitor Center, Little River Canyon Interpretive
Center, Roseville Utility Exploration Center, and
the United States National Slavery Museum.
By focusing on the story,
experience, and audience, Harvest Moon seeks to fulfill
principles of universal design and engage audiences
across a broad spectrum.
