Planning
Whether the subject is fragile ecosystems or imperiled civil
rights, Harvest Moon Studio co-founder Heather Lindquist
has extensive experience as an interpretive exhibit planner for museums
and visitor centers. With a background in American Studies,
and over twenty years in exhibit planning, she seeks simple, thematic solutions
to multi-layered content.
Interpretive exhibits planned and written
by Heather Lindquist are currently installed at:
Manzanar National Historic Site in Owens Valley,
California; The National Prisoner of War Museum in
Andersonville, Georgia; The Lincoln Home National
Historic Site in Springfield, Illinois; Acadia
National Park in Maine; the Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; the Naval
Live Oaks Visitor Center in Pensacola Florida; and the Roseville Utility Exploration Center in Roseville California.
Upcoming installations include:
Keweenaw National Historical Park, and the Virginia Historical Society.
By focusing on the story,
experience, and audience, Harvest Moon seeks to fulfill
principles of universal design and engage audiences
across a broad spectrum.
