Each year, 71,000 drivers are
injured in “fall-asleep” crashes.
Alertness Solutions and Artefact Design contracted with
Harvest Moon Studio to create an audio CD that would
help on-the-road workers (truckers, police officers,
and pharmaceutical salesmen) deal with drowsy driving. "Awake
at the Wheel" re-creates a drowsy driver’s
accident, arrest, trial, and recovery at a court-appointed “Drowsy
Driver’s Anonymous” meeting.
