Welcome to the National Sleep Awareness Week® (NSAW) section
of the National Sleep Foundation’s 2005 Toolkit CD-ROM. This
section talks about NSAW, NSF’s week-long health promotion
campaign.
It has a number of resources to help you use NSAW as an opportunity
to promote your sleep center/organization. For example, have
you ever considered conducting an event during National Sleep
Awareness Week®? For suggestions and sample materials,

National Sleep Awareness Week® is also a public relations and
marketing opportunity. On the NSAW
PR and Marketing page, you will find
sample media advisories, news releases and other materials
that are designed for you to customize easily for your facility. With
a little work, you can become a PR pro!
“Branding” is a term in PR and marketing that
means providing an identity for an organization. Branding
can involve devices such as logos. On the NSAW
Logos page, you will find graphics that
you can use on newsletters, fliers and other publicity materials.
